I received a traffic citation I do not agree with. What can I do about it?
Once a citation is written, it is forwarded to the court clerk next business day. No one in the police department, including the chief of police, is able to dismiss or withhold prosecution of a ticket. If you disagree with the ticket, you can call the Santa Rosa County Traffic Violations Bureau at 850-983-1009 and ask for instructions on your options.
