City to dedicate Fire Station to R. L. Lewis


On Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 10 a.m., the City of Milton will dedicate the Milton Fire Station to former City Councilman and Mayor R. L. Lewis. Mayor Lewis was the first African American Mayor in the City’s history. The ceremony will take place at the City’s fire station, located at 5321 Stewart Street, Milton. A tour of the station will follow the ceremony.
