Riverwalk receives decorative lighting with more to come

Decorative lighting in downtown Milton

Downtown Milton will shine brighter after sunset due to new decorative lighting on both north and south Riverwalk. According to Public Works Director Joe Cook even more lighting will come later this season. Currently, new lighting can be viewed in trees and between the walk through on North Willing Street.  Lighting to come will include the boardwalk hand rail and on every third piling on the pier.

"The city endeavored to increase decorative lighting several years ago," said Cook, "We're happy to see it come to fruition." He said the total cost of the upgrade is $58k.
