The city's fountain is teal for Sexual Assault Awareness Month

The city fountain was dyed teal on Monday, April 1 for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Naval Air Station Whiting Field , the City of Milton, Milton Police Department, Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office, Lakeview Center, Fleet and Family Support Services, the Attorney General’s Office, Civilian Victim’s Advocate and Oasis were present.

The proclamation was signed by the city of Milton, law enforcement and military commands join together to support dedicated efforts of national, state and local partners to include citizens actively engaged in the prevention, awareness and response efforts surrounding the issue.
