Welcome to the City of Milton Youth Council!

After all of the changes our students have been through over the past year, they continue to persevere, take action, and be the change they wish to see. Are you ready to get up, get out, and make a difference? Join the 2021-2022 City of Milton Youth Council. This program has been an exciting opportunity in Milton for many years. The City of Milton intends to make the program better than ever for the coming Fall term. Not only will students make their voice heard on the issues in their community, but they will also help bring in exciting events, meaningful volunteer opportunities, and gain insight for their future by engaging in inspiring career spotlights. All eligible members that fulfill the program requirements will receive a scholarship award, receive community service hours, and enhance their college and career resumes.

The application is due by June 30th, 2021. Applications are available at Milton High School, City Hall, and available to download below. You can drop off your applications at City Hall or email Lyndsey Benton at lbenton@miltonfl.org.

In addition to fulfilling the general requirements of a member of the Milton Youth Council, eligible participants must live or attend school in Milton, Florida. To receive the Youth Council Scholarship award, you must have received acceptance into a four-year college or university, two-year community college, trade school, or have plans to join the military. This year's Youth Council will be selecting 12 members based on their dedication, leadership skills, and willingness to serve. There will be a short essay question at the end of the application. Please do your best to describe why you want to be a part of the Youth Council and your vision for this year.
