 Description of Duties

 The Milton Benevolent Cemetery Board (MBCB) powers and duties are described as follows:

  1. Maintain and enhance the landscaping and appearance of the Cemetery
  2. Coordinate burial ceremonies and monument settings
  3. Coordinate opening and closing of grave sites
  4. Meet the needs of clients and potential clients
  5. Coordinate records management with the City Clerk
  6. Determine rules and policies relating to the operation and maintenance, as approved by the City Council
  7. Make recommendations to the City Council in regards to upkeep and maintenance of the Cemetery
  8. Sell, repurchase, or trade lots and spaces
