Strength and Conditioning Camp

The City of Milton Parks and Recreation will kick-off our 2019 football season with our Strength & Conditioning Camp which will run from July 1st through July 26th every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Milton Community Center located at 5629 Byrom Street in Milton. 

Players ages five, six, and seven will practice on Field 4 (west end), eight year olds will practice on Field 5, nine and ten year olds will practice on Field 6, and 11, 12, and 13 year olds will practice Field 7.

There will be a parents meeting TBA in the Milton Community Center Gym, at 7 p.m. This is for parents to gain information about the upcoming year and to ask questions.

Football

During the Strength and Conditioning Camp all registered football players will be able to participate in the Milton High School's football camp with head coach Harry Lees. If you are registered for football, this will be a free camp.

There will be a parents meeting on TBA in the Milton Community Center Gym, at 7 p.m. This is for parents to gain information about the upcoming year and to ask questions. 

Games will be played on Saturdays in the Milton/Pensacola area; (8) football games (4) home/ (4) away. The football season will start around September 5th and end around November 2nd. Playoffs will start the following week and will continue until the team is eliminated, if they qualify.

Football practice will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Parents will need to purchase a practice jersey (mesh jersey) and practice football pants (any color besides black) and cleats. If your child loses any equipment it will be the parents’ responsibility to replace it. Youth should wear t-shirts, shorts, and shoes; please bring water to drink.

Uniform fittings will be held on a date to be determined, if your child misses their uniform fitting time, we will come and fit your child at practice.

Big Cat Jamboree will be held on a date to be determined at Milton High School. There will be no charge for this event.

Homecoming will be held on a date to be determined at the football fields, from 6 to 8 p.m. Players will be introduced and get pizza and drinks after the ceremony.

Football players will have their pizza and trophy party TBA for the Mighty Mites, Mini Mites, and Mite Gold from 6 to 8 p.m. on the football field, if weather is permitting. Mite Black, Midgets, and Juniors will be held on TBA on the football fields from 6 to 8 p.m., if the weather is permitting.

The league makes the football schedule and we will put it out as soon as it is available to the teams and on Facebook. If there are any changes to dates and times we will notify you on Facebook as soon as possible.
