The Milton Police Department functions under a City Council/Manager form of municipal government. With roughly 9,200 full-time residents, Milton is located in the western Florida Panhandle and is the County Seat of Santa Rosa County. The Police Department is staffed by 21 full-time officers, two part-time officers and 7 civilian dispatch/records clerks.
